Alternative
Secondary School Education Tutoring and Support (ASSETS)
Pilot Project
Objective:
Through the ASSETS program, students who wish to pursue secondary education
through distance education (home schooling), will have an opportunity to
corroborate with their peers, consult with qualified tutors and support staff
and to have access to an environment conducive to the achievement of
excellence. Students will be offered supplemental materials to augment on line
materials. Furthermore, elective courses will be offered.

Our students will be enrolled,
taking full course complements, with the AMDEC online high school program.

Method:
Students will have access to our facility
on a daily basis. The facility will offer a computer room with internet access,
a library, and multimedia equipment. An experienced facilitator will be present
to provide assistance and support for the students.
